Yours to return to

Keep the card.
Know where it lives.

A private link, a browser copy and an account shelf each work a little differently. Here’s what to know before you share or save something personal.

Three ways to come back

Choose how you keep it.

01 / In this browser

A copy on this device

For cards that support browser copies, choosing Keep can save the messages and uploaded media in this browser. It does not sync to another device, and clearing browser data can remove it. Anyone using this browser can see its local shelf copies. Removing one does not delete the sender’s published card.

Visit My shelf
02 / With your account

A connection to the card

Signed-in saving connects a published card to your account. Private shelf notes stay in this browser. Notes saved to your Keepze account stay there unless you choose to share them. Newly purchased cards are kept and reopened on your account shelf and do not offer offline files. This is different from a card file saved on your device.

Open your account
03 / Saved file

A copy you keep yourself

Supported older cards may offer Save card under Card options for a card file you can open again. Newly purchased cards stay on your account shelf and do not offer offline files. Saved files are independent of Keepze’s hosted storage; online visuals may need a connection or prevent a complete offline save.

About independent copies

The full details

How keeping
and privacy work.

This explains how the current Keepze service works.

Making and publishing

New drafts begin in this browser. When a card is saved to your account, Keepze stores its chosen media, message and signature. This includes group cards still collecting contributions. Group contributors’ messages, signatures and optional media are stored with the card. Account passwords are stored as password hashes, and account access uses a secure session cookie.

Google sign-in

When you choose Continue with Google, Google handles sign-in and returns a verified account identifier, name and email address to Keepze. Keepze uses these details to create your account or sign you back in. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or other Google content. An existing Keepze account with the same email is not automatically linked; sign in with its Keepze password.

Contacts and Google contact search

Google contact search is optional and separate from Google sign-in. After you choose it and grant read-only permission, a pop-up lets you search your Google Contacts by name or email and select one address to fill your recipient details. Keepze requests matching names and email addresses, rather than importing your whole address book. Google still grants a general read-only contacts permission; Keepze uses it for the searches you submit.

Access tokens and matching results stay in browser memory. Closing the search clears the token and unselected results. Choosing an address does not save a contact or send a card. Only contacts you explicitly save are stored in your private Keepze address book in Neon. You can remove those saved contacts from your account; this does not delete anything from Google. There is no background synchronization or stored refresh token.

Keepze does not sell Google contact data or use it for advertising or AI training. Sharing and email sending remain separate actions you review. Optional profile discovery is off by default and matches exact supplied identifiers only against accounts that opt in; entered social handles are unverified. The team’s managed-social address book is separate from customer contacts. Social app sharing opens a customer-controlled handoff; Keepze does not receive the social app’s friends list or selected recipient.

Your shelf

For cards that support browser copies, choosing Keep can save a complete copy of messages and uploaded media in this browser. Clearing browser data can remove it. Signed-in shelf saving stores an account connection to the published card. Private shelf notes stay in this browser. Notes saved to your Keepze account stay in that account unless you choose to share them. Newly purchased cards are kept and reopened on your account shelf and do not offer offline files. Save card, available under Card options for supported older cards, creates an independent card file; browser-local storage does not sync to another device.

Accounts and transactional email

When email is enabled, verification and recovery links require your confirmation before they change your account. Keepze uses Zoho for its support mailbox. Transactional emails may be processed by Zoho or Resend, depending on the sending service in use. Card emails identify the sender but keep the inside message sealed. Recipients choose whether to acknowledge a card; opening it does not automatically email the sender. Promotional email is separate from card and account email. The Keepze for Business form records your explicit email choice in a box that starts unchecked. Submitting that form does not send a marketing message.

Email preferences

An invitation reminder is optional and is limited to one reminder for that card. Keepze stores the preference only after you choose the corresponding box. Email delivery remains unavailable until sender and inbox checks are complete. Recipient email and contributor email are kept out of public card responses.

Optional assistance and media

When AI writing or cover help is available, your text or chosen image is sent to the configured provider only when you ask for help. Review a suggestion before accepting it. Use only images and media you have permission to share. Video plays through its controls; it does not play automatically.

Optional online GIF search connects this browser directly to GIPHY, including your search words. Keepze stores the chosen GIF’s identifier and description; online GIFs still need a connection on your shelf. Online visuals may need a connection or prevent a complete offline save. Your original uploads are stored with the card; Save card includes supported media where available.

Card prices and orders

Single cards are $4.99 USD and group cards are $9.99 USD. Payments are processed by Stripe; Keepze does not store your card number. Preparing an order stores its card identity, price, currency and status with your account. Returning from checkout alone does not confirm payment. Check the order status recorded by Keepze.

Public-page measurement

Keepze uses Google Analytics on public home, catalogue, design, pricing and privacy pages to understand visits. Google may use analytics cookies and receive browser and connection information. This integration sends public page paths without query strings or private-link details. It does not run on card creation, recipient, group signing, account, shelf or private-note pages. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable this Google integration.

Separately from Google Analytics, Keepze’s own tracker reports page loads, card reveals, share actions and pricing-link clicks. Reports may include a design identifier and a broad referral category. They contain no card messages, private-link tokens or account details, and this tracker sends no cookies. It does not send reports when your browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal is enabled. See the cookie notice for the cookies and browser storage Keepze uses. The Google Analytics button below turns off Google Analytics only. These counts do not show who opened a card, whether it was read or whether an email arrived.

Campaign attribution

A Keepze campaign link may contain an opaque kz_t reference and campaign labels in its query string. Keepze stores that reference in its own keepze_kz cookie and browser storage for up to 30 days. This is separate from anonymous page measurement and may run on the recipient view, account creation and checkout pages. It never reads or records the private card fragment after #, card messages or signatures.

Keepze records campaign page visits and when a sample envelope is opened or its inside is reached. Those browser observations do not prove who visited or that a person read the card. Successful account creation, card creation and checkout can be associated with the campaign reference; a purchase is recorded only from verified payment evidence, with test payments marked separately. Campaign records may be linked to the corresponding lead in Keepze’s CRM. A token is not permission to email you.

Campaign attribution is disabled when this browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can also remove the keepze_kz cookie and Keepze campaign storage through your browser settings. See the cookie notice. The Google Analytics button controls Google Analytics only.

Keeping independently

This is an early service, without a promise of permanent hosted storage. Newly purchased cards are kept and reopened on your account shelf and do not offer offline files. Supported older cards may offer Save card under Card options for an independent card file. Save card keeps the card experience rather than a separate text document. Some online visuals cannot be included for offline use. Earlier encrypted browser-card links remain supported; newer hosted cards use private access links.
