Cookie notice

What this covers

Cookies are small files a site saves in your browser. Keepze also uses similar browser storage, such as localStorage, to remember drafts and your shelf. This page explains what we use. See the privacy page for how personal information is handled.

Needed for the service

These make Keepze work and cannot be switched off in our site:

  • a secure session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account;
  • temporary sign-in and security state when you use Continue with Google;
  • browser storage for your card drafts, your local shelf and your choices, such as the measurement opt-out.

Public-page measurement

On public pages such as the home page, pricing and card browsing, Keepze uses Google Analytics to count visits. Google may set analytics cookies. We do not run it on card creation, recipient, group signing, account, shelf or private-note pages, and advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

Keepze’s own page-load and card-reveal counts do not use cookies. Neither measurement runs when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can also use the opt-out button on the privacy page.

Keepze campaign attribution

When you arrive through a campaign link with a kz_t reference, Keepze stores an opaque campaign reference and campaign labels in its first-party keepze_kz cookie and keepze.marketing.v1 localStorage entry for up to 30 days. The keepze.marketing.events.v1 entry keeps unsent observation records for retry within that same period. These are separate from the anonymous page counts and may be used on the recipient view, sign-up, card creation and checkout pages.

The reference connects campaign visits and completed actions to a CRM lead record. It contains no card message, signature or private link fragment. Test checkout completions are distinguished from real payments. This attribution does not run when this browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. You can clear these named items through your browser settings; doing so does not delete your card drafts or shelf. The Google Analytics opt-out controls Google Analytics only.

Payments and sign-in providers

Stripe, our payment provider, and Google, if you choose Continue with Google, may set their own cookies on their own pages or embedded forms to process your payment, sign you in and prevent fraud. Their cookie practices are described in their own policies.

Third-party media

If you search for and play GIFs through GIPHY, GIPHY may receive your browser information and set its own cookies when its content is loaded.

Your choices

You can delete or block cookies and clear site storage in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out and remove drafts and shelf copies stored only in that browser. Blocking necessary storage may stop parts of Keepze working.
