Acceptable use & copyright
Why these rules exist
Keepze cards are meant to be warm and personal. These rules protect the people who receive cards and the people who sign them. They apply to everything you or your contributors add: messages, signatures, images, GIFs, video and recipient details.
What you may not add or send
Do not create, upload or send content that:
- is illegal, or encourages or helps illegal activity;
- harasses, threatens, bullies or targets a person or group, or promotes hatred or violence;
- is sexually explicit, or involves or exploits minors in any way;
- infringes someone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, including images or music you do not have permission to use;
- shares someone’s private information, such as addresses or financial details, without permission;
- impersonates another person or organization, or is deceptive, fraudulent or a scam;
- contains malware, or tries to collect passwords or payment details;
- promotes self-harm.
Group cards and contributors
Organizers are responsible for the signing links they share. Contributors are responsible for what they write. We may remove a contribution, or close a group card, that breaks these rules.
Sending to others
Only send cards to people who would reasonably expect to receive them. Do not use Keepze for bulk, unsolicited or deceptive messages, or to send a card to someone who has asked you to stop.
What we may do
We may review reported content, remove it, disable a link, suspend or close an account, and, where the law requires or someone is at risk, share information with authorities. We may act without notice when needed to keep people safe.
Reporting a problem
If you receive a card that breaks these rules, or see content that concerns you, email contact@keepze.com with the link you received and a short description. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe content on Keepze infringes your copyright, email contact@keepze.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:
- the work you say was copied and where it appears (the card link);
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the owner;
- your electronic or physical signature.
We may share a notice with the person who added the content.
Repeat infringement
We may close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
